A Native of East Orange, NJ, "The cradle of hip hop," Eric has always been fascinated by the act of playing music. "I would love to be a musician— I play the violin and the trumpet very loudly and very badly."

"I could sell a used condom in a convent." Eric graduated from one of the nation's oldest prep schools, Newark Academy—founded in 1774 in Livingston, NJ; and then later from Tufts University. Eric had to figure out how to get a very expensive education with no vast family fortune to pay for it.

"I had to fund my education myself. I learned that you can achieve any goal if you can pay for it! No one cares where your grandfather's money came from. I went to high school with kids whose great-grandparents sold draw's on fucking Prince street in Newark. I'm here to make sure that Indecent Music makes fucking money. Period. I really want my great-granddaughters to be able to run for President. The only way that's going to happen is if I become mind-numbingly rich. I don't give a shit about anything else."
