PRICING AND QUOTES

At Indecent Music, all studio time is priced at the same rate, regardless of what equipment is used or to what end. For instance, design, mastering and tracking are all billed at the same rate. In general, when music is composed, the copyright is retained by the composer and the client gets an exclusive limited license. The time that the music is being composed is billed as studio time. At times music can be purchased outright for a negotiable rate.

Booking Time

To schedule a hourly studio session a $75 non-refundable deposit must be made 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointment. This is usually completed during or after the initial studio tour. If the appointment is kept, the money applies to recording time. If the appointment is missed and/or not cancelled 24-hours in advance, the money is forfeited.

To schedule a block rate, a 50% deposit must be made to secure the studio time.

Block Rates

After the first half of the block time is completed, payment is due at the end of each session at the corresponding hourly rate. In the case of a Lock-Out Block, completion of payment is due at the end of the block. For all other studio rates, payment is due in full at the end of each recording session.

CD-R's, DATs, Tape

All staple items are added to the final cost of recording session.
